The Maharashtra Forest Department has recently been investigating the surprise seizure of the marine molluscs, which have a hard, protective outer case, and are found scattered across sea shores in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka.

Our friendly neighbor to the North, aka Canada, has announced its intention to ban the sale of new internal-combustion-powered passenger cars and light trucks by 2035, with the goal of reaching net-zero emissions by 2050, according to a Reuters report Tuesday.

"It just goes to show you that when people pull together, you know, things get bigger and bigger and bigger - and especially the school, how fabulous to have that happen," said Sarandon as she sang English nursery rhymes with the kids.

Analysis of the gas will continue but it may be a little longer before the capsule is officially cracked open. Fujimoto says that is likely to occur sometime around Dec. The capsule will be carefully disassembled and then moved to a clean room where the sample will be processed and opened under vacuum conditions at JAXA's Sagamihara campus.

SAO PAULO, Dec 17 (Reuters) - Pork products sold at retailers in Brazil contain antibiotic-resistant bacteria, according to a study funded by animal rights group World Animal Protection (WAP), providing potential evidence of overuse of the medicines in food livestock.

The crowd erupted with "oohs," and some pointed their phones at the sky. Then, without a sound, a twinkling point of light appeared out of the dark. Above the Lookout Cave Motel in the center of town, just before 4 a.m. PT on Saturday), about a dozen people gathered and mingled. Tripods were erected and camera equipment was fine-tuned and pointed at the sky.

It's also likely to feature another key partner: Australia. The mission will feature partnerships with NASA, the French Space Agency and the European Space Agency. Though not officially confirmed, Fujimoto has hinted those samples would also touch down in the outback.

Confirmation of exactly what was nabbed during Hayabusa2's two heists is expected over the coming weeks.  The team estimates that Hayabusa2 collected about one gram of material from Ryugu, based on observations from the spacecraft's cameras.

"Beyond treating disease, the antibiotics are commonly used to avoid illnesses caused by the handling of the animals and the high levels of stress caused by the extreme conditions in which they are confined," WAP said.

The plan, which the Trudeau administration proposed, would see Canada joining the state of California and countries like the United Kingdom (though the UK's plan is even more ambitious, giving itself five fewer years to meet its goal) in shifting toward electric vehicles.

But the mission isn't quite over yet. The recovery of the capsule took place in the predawn dark of the outback, and confirmation of the capsule's collection was confirmed early on Dec. The team then shipped the capsule via a chartered flight from Australia to Japan, where it will be ferried to JAXA for further analysis. Initial analysis occurred in Woomera.

Nearly half a million Palestinian refugees live in mostly overcrowded, impoverished conditions, in 12 camps in Lebanon. They are descendants of families who fled or were forced to flee during fighting which created the state of Israel in 1948.

On two occasions in 2019, it collected samples from the surface in brief snatch-and-go maneuvers. The spacecraft traveled over 3.2 billion miles on its journey to near-Earth asteroid Ryugu and back, spending over a year using specialized cameras, radar and an infrared imager to survey the spinning top-shaped rock. The landing was the culmination of a decade of work by JAXA scientists and engineers, and it came six years after Hayabusa2, which is about the size of two washing machines slapped together, departed Earth.

Phase 3 still advises people to wash hands, keep distance from other people, clean frequently used surfaces often and take other actions to try to fight COVID-19. "We know we still have an issue with asymptomatic spread," where people are infected but don't show it, Birx said.

And there may be another Hayabusa mission in the works, too. Hayabusa2's sample return mission is over, but the spacecraft hasn't been retired. JAXA engineers and scientists will steer the probe to another two asteroids over the next decade. JAXA personnel have dropped tantalizing hints that the duology could become a trilogy in the future. Will we see a Hayabusa3? That's a distinct possibility.

Locked within the capsule was the first ever subsurface sample from an asteroid. The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA)  confirmed that the 16-inch container had touched down on the flat, ochre plains of the Woomera Prohibited Area (WPA) more than 200 miles southeast of Coober Pedy at approximately 4:37 a.m.

"We are committed to aligning Canada's zero-emission vehicles sales targets with those of the most ambitious North American jurisdictions," Canadian Environment Minister Jonathan Wilkinson said as part of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's announcement.
